About Us...
The
Charles Perdew Museum Association (CPMA) is an Illinois
Not-for-Profit Corporation founded and operated by dedicated
volunteers, and is endorsed by the descendents of Charles and
Edna Perdew.
Our
mission is to educate the public by preserving the Perdew’s
artistic legacy in their depiction of Illinois River waterfowl
and wildlife.
The
workshop, in which Charles Perdew spent many hours crafting his
decoys among the smell of pine and cedar shavings, has been
fully restored and now houses the museum. There you will find a
recreation of Charles’ workshop environment, exhibits featuring
Perdew artifacts, and special exhibits and events.
